Geet Sethi became the 2008 EBOS Welsh Open Champion, beating Paul Dunning in the final at the World Snooker Center in Prestatyn. In the final Geet Sethi beats Paul Dunning of England.

Geet also made the highest break of the event, 183, in his semi final match with Bem French, which also included further breaks of 160 and 153.
