Early Exit for India in
9Ball Pool; Lilly lost in Quarter Final of 3-Cushion Carom
Dry day for cuesports in Asian Games 2010 at Guangzhou as Indian cueist
failed to register any win in the disciplines they played today.
Lilly, who was hoping a medal in 3-Cushion Carom after last night victory,
disappointed as he lost in Quarter Final to Joji Kai of Japan by 8 points to
40.
On the other side, former National Pool Champions Alok Kumar and Manan
Chandra made an early exit by losing their initial matches against Hisataka
Kamihashi (Japan) and Phuc Long Nguyen (Vietnam) 4-9 and 3-9 respectively.
Alok won the bronze medal in 8Ball Pool discipline played few days back.
Now Snooker (Individual) event left in Men’s category for Indian cueists
where Pankaj Advani and Aditya Mehta will take part from day after tomorrow
onwards.
Indira Gowda will also be playing her Pre-Quarter match tomorrow with the
hope for a medal in ladies event also.
Dharminder Lilly lost to Joji Kai (Japan) :: 08-40
