Hamilton is about 80 minutes easy drive away by vehicle.

'A 2 B Car Rentals' (www.a2b-car-rental.co.nz) .... mid car size is $37 a day, and 8 people carrier is $79 a day ... plus GPS rental $10 a day if required.
 

Accommodation: We have reserved a number of units at the Brooklyn Motor Lodge. The rate is $120 twin share including Continental Breakfasts. Please email to ... enquiries@brooklynmotorlodge.co.nz ... select 'Accommodation' and then select 'enquire' ... fill in dates etc ...and then be sure to mention in the bottom space 'NZ Open Billiards' when booking ... as they are normally $165 without Con/Breakfast. We will have organized during the Championships 'free transport to the venue' with this Motel only. This Motor Lodge is about an 8 minute walk to the playing venue.
 

First WR Tournament is 23-25th Sept ... timed event (1hr, 90min... ?? to be confirmed) finishing about 4pm ?? on the 25th ... then the Players all go off to a great fun/social evening at the Cambridge Night Trots.
 

Second WR is the `NZ Open' ... Fri 26-Sun 28th September ... timed also, these games are 2 hrs, with Final 2x 90min.
 

The Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club has 8 tables, table #4 is the table that Peter Gilchrist got is World Record break of 1346 in 2007. Peter Gilchrist has confirmed by email that he is 95% sure he will be here again this year.

Excitingly for next year in September we intend to have 4x WR tournaments over 15 days .. Christchurch, Auckland, and the two in Hamilton ... perfect timing for players to get 'real match game time' before the Worlds at Leeds in October 2015.
