Hainsworth Acquires Northern Rubber Brand

The world’s leading manufacturer of snooker cloth, Hainsworth, has acquired the Northern Rubber brand and business from Icon Polymer for an undisclosed sum, expanding its expertise in the cue sports market.

Northern Rubber supplies rubber cushions to leading snooker and pool table manufacturers across the world and its products have been fitted to championship tables used in all major worldwide snooker tournaments.

Icon Polymer’s specialist manufacturing facilities in Retford will continue to produce the rubber cushions, but the brand will now be marketed by cue sports cloth specialist, Hainsworth.
