Capt. Mohan is the second Indian and the third Asian to become the IBSF President. The first Indian was R.K. Vissanji, who was from Maharashtra Association in India.

Delighted Capt. Mohan expressed his feelings and spoke about his plans.

"Yeah, it is a great honor not only for me but for the country that I was given that very important post. I want to do my best for the cue sports in my two-year term. Before it ends, I hope to achieve many important task."

"My priority is to spread the game in Africa and Oceania regions. Right now, Asia, Europe and America are doing well. But African nations are lagging behind. I would try to uplift the game there and so too in Oceania. West Asia and Middle East Asia has shown tremendous interest and we must make sure that the game is kept going progressively"

"I want to have an Asian Tour from next year onwards on the lines of the European Tour. Another very important task for me is to bring cue sports back into the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games. Of course, the next target will be the Olympics. I am hopeful of having cue sports in Indonesia in 2018. The hosts can have two disciplines of their choice. A delegation will go to Indonesia and explore that possibility,"

"There were many suggestions at the AGM last night. Russia wants an under-18 tournament. China wants tournament using table which is 8ft length. Some made a proposal for cue sports with special tables for the handicapped. Everything will be done to promote the game around the world,"

"I must say that I have a huge responsibility and I hope to satisfy everyone with honest work. Exciting times are in store for cues sports,"

Last night elections were also held for other posts in IBSF where Maxime Cassis of France got elected as Vice President; Mohammed El Kammah of Egypt re-elected as General Secretary and Michael Alkhoury of Syria remained unopposed for Treasurer.
