Pankaj Advani, who was leading 5-4 against Robbie Williams at the end of session one in round 3 of Dafabet World Championship qualifiers, responded much stronger at the start of second session and widened the lead by 7-4 but all that went in vain when Robbie reverted like a thunderstorm and won back-to-back six frames to shock the Indian cue star.

Pankaj was off to a solid start and was at par till first eight frames further to lead at closure of the session 1. In the 2nd session, Pankaj again played confidently to seal next two frames to remain ahead. However, Robbie who cracked break of 62 points in 12th, followed by 56, 67 and 56 in 14th, 15th and 17th frames respectively, left Pankaj with no answer forcing him to bid adieu to the 2013-14 season.
