Tamil Nadu Premier League

The Tamil Nadu Premier League 2015, TPL 2015 is the first of its kind in India in Cue Sports. TPL closely follows the success model of other premier leagues in sports including cricket, tennis, badminton, kabaddi etc. Following the tremendous success of Snooker Premier League 2014 held at Erode, the idea of taking the SPL to the next stage, TPL was born.

TPL provides opportunity to many upcoming players playing along with experienced players’ part of the team. Also, it gives them an opportunity to earn money based on their auction value. Similarly, the team owners have the option of balancing their teams and the auction structures to establish a winning mix.

The tournament inauguration and commencement is on 15th July, 2015 and the final on 19th July, 2015 at TNCA Club.

The winning team will get an amount of Rs.4 Lakh, the runner-up Rs.3 Lakh and the two semi finalists Rs.1 Lakh each.

There are two groups in TPL 2015 each consisting of four teams with nine players each. Each group will play a Round Robin League. The top two teams in each group will enter the Semi- Finals Knock out stage.

The teams in Group A are India Pistons Limited, Cues and You, Elektronik Lab and Lanson Knights and Group B are Madras Rockets, Madras Super Devils, Erode Emperors and Team 147.

The top players in the Tournament are Manan Chandra; Brijesh Damani; Dharminder Lilly; Varun Madan; Shahbaaz Khan; Sandeep Gulati, Lucky Vatnani, Dhvaj Haria, Faisal Khan, Laxman Rawat and Rafath Habib. Along with these, there are various players from all over India.
