Chitra wins the
inaugural Women's Ranking Championship at Sydney
Chitra Magimairaj
from India defeated Aussie player Theresa Whitten in the final of
IBSF - Australian Women's Ranking competition been played at
Mounties, Mount Pritchard NSW 2170, Australia.
Chitra obtained the second seed slot for the knockouts and defeated
Kerry De Pradines (AUS) 2-1 in Last-16, Jessica Woods (AUS) 3-1 in
Quarter Finals, her compatriot Vidya Pillai 4-2 in Semis and finally
Theresa Whitten 4-0 to lift the trophy.
