(This event has taken place by Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi in association with Delhi Billiards & Snooker Association. The tournament is under the programme of Billiards & Snooker Federation of India to promote the game in the student fraternity to encourage talent at grassroots' level. Prior to this Delhi Billiards & Snooker Association had also conducted the Delhi School Billiards & Snooker Open Tournament in September 2006, which proved to be a great success)
