Geet, Joshi right on Cue ...

Geet Sethi(Guj) and Devendra Joshi (PSPB) gave a rousing start on opening day of 5th R.K. Memorial Billiards and Snooker Championship at Alexander Athletic Club at Court Compound, Meerut. sethi scored a break of 207 in the opening visit, while Joshi did even better piling a break of 441 against Hyderabad's Lucky Vatnani.

Alexander Athletic Club is organising the championship on the occasion of Platinum Jubilee of the club.

Progressing on other matches, Kamal Chawla from Bhopal almost pulled off an upset against PSPB's Sourav Kothari, in their league match losing narrowly by 351-390.

In another cliff-hanger, Manan Chandra of PSPB was lucky to survive against Uttar Pradesh state champion, Raghoo Sinha by 405-403. Raghoo was on a break of 26 when the bell rang leaving him behind by just two points.

Currently Geet Sethi and Manan Chandra was playing their last league match, where Sethi was on a double century break while filing this report. other results are -
