Deccan, Poona Club, Temptation Stars, Horizon Club start campaign on winning note
Deccan Gymkhana , Poona Club , CME , Oasis , Temptation Stars , Horizon Club start campaign on winning note in their Group league team matches at the fifth edition of the PYC –ATC Snooker Challenge 2008 tournament organized and played at PYC Hindu Gymkhana Club here today.
In a group G encounter Deccan Gymkhana team comprising of Surendra Deshpande , Ajinkya Mehta and Uday Punde started their campaign on a winning note winning both the matches , the outplayed Gamers Anonymous Folks 3-0 and Corner pocket Hawks 2-1.
In a group D encounter Temptation Stars a team of Kailash Popatni , Girish Giri and Sushant Khade also won two matches on a trot winning 2-1 against TBS Gladiators and CME.
However in the second match CME comprising of Major Basnet, Major nikhil Kumar and India Junior national champion Aranxta Sanchez scored a 2-1 win over Cue Masters.
In the same group Poona Club started on a winning note outplaying Table Pool Junction Fabers 3-0. In geoup B match Oasis scraped past PCS club 3-0, while In a Group C match Horizon Club accounted for Pool Around Rockets 3-0.
