Poona Club, TPJ Fabers, PYF Invincibles entered knock-out round
Poona Club, Table Pool Junction Fabers and Pradhikaran Youth Forum Invincibles won their league team matches and became the first teams to enter the Super16 stage at the fifth edition of the PYC –ATC Snooker Challenge 2008 tournament organized and played at PYC Hindu Gymkhana Club here today.
In the Group D Poona Club defeated Cue Masters 2-1, Table Pool Junction Fabers represented by Pradyumna Mehendale, Kiran Algude, Ninad Ghag ousted Cue Masters 3-0 to make it to the last 16 stage from the group.
Pradhikaran Youth Forum Invincibles who scored back to back wins over Pool Around Shooters 3-0 and Hustlers Tormenters 3-0 also made it to the last 16 from Group F.
In a Group H tie Cue Sports India (Seniors) a team represented by national players Rishab Pandya, Kamal Chawla and Abhishek Raj easily accounted for Zoom In Light 3-0 in their first match.
