Pankaj to meet Sourav in the Final

 

Pankaj Advani to meet Sourav Kothari in the final of the  3.10 Lac prize money Nahar-MIG All India Invitation Snooker Championship being played at the MIG CC. In the semi finals Pankaj scored a easy victory over Kamal Chawla 5-0 (81-16, 75-18, 64-53, 54-17, 52-45). From the start of the match Pankaj dominated and demonstrated why he is the best cueist in India.

 

Shahbaaz Khan who was in tremendous form lost to Sourav Kothari in the first semi final 5-3 (65-36, 73-50, 100-26, 0-89, 54-62, 57-59, 72-63, 70-46). Sourav started by taking the first 3 frames which included a century break but then Shahbaaz fought back and pocketed 3 frames. Afterwards Sourav gave no chance and by taking the next 2 frames entered the Finals.

 

Shahbaaz Adil Khan had created a flutter by defeating the Favourite Pankaj Advani in the league stage. Pankaj also had complimented shahbaaz for his brilliant performance. Shahbaaz made his way into the semis by defeating Manan Chandra in the Quarter finals. Manan was the winner in the first edition of this tournament. Sourav Kothari had defeated Manudev in the Quarter finals to make his way into the semis. And now by beating Shahbaaz Khan in the semis he is the first to make it to the Finals of this tournament.
