RULES & REGULATIONS
1. North
India Snooker Tournament in open only to players from J & K,
Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan,
Uttar Pradesh / Uttarakhand.
2. The
tournament shall be conducted as
per:.

Draw
3.
State No. 1 & No.2
shall be seeded. (8 States x 2 Players = 16 Seeded Players)
4.
Incase 16 seeded
players are not available then 2 seats shall be given to players
from Uttarakhand and any other vacancy after that shall be filled
by a player from entries received with highest ranking as per
Cue Sports India (CSI) Rankings.
5. Entry Fee
shall be Rs.1000/= payable by all players including seeded
players.
6. Qualifiers
will be played in a Knockout format (best of 5) and 16 players
will qualify to play the main draw.
7. Main draw shall be played
first in league format and then knockout format.
8. League & knockout matches of the Main Draw
shall be best of 5 frame. (semis & finals best of 7).
9. Knock outs draw of the main
draw will be by re-seeding. Incase of a tie for any seed, the
tie shall be broken by "game of chance".
10. No accommodation shall be provided.
11. No entries shall be accepted after last date
of entry.
12. The tournament committee has the right to
change.

14. In the league stages players
shall refer their own matches. Referee shall be available from
Knockout stage only.
15. All the rules of fifteen red snooker shall be
applicable. Except the foul and miss shall be restricted to only
4 replacements. Degree of difficulty shall not be a
consideration.
16. Dress code shall be semi formal: Formal
pants/Jeans (but can not be torn), Single colored shirt or
collared T-Shirts and shoes only. Any deviation shall be
automatic walkover.
17. No "No Value" matches will be
played.
