Aaryan Abrol wins the sub-junior billiards state ranking championship being held at Haryana billiards sco-37, sector-11, Panchkula. Aaryan defeated Ajinkya 2-0 in the best of three frames. In the beginning of the first frame Ajinkya hit a break of 31 points but missed an easy red pot and gave Aaryan a good chance to come back and cover the lead, which Aaryan did replying with a break of 28 points and put a safety for Ajinkya, he tried a shot but missed it and gave another chance for Aaryan. Aaryan showing his class hit another break and snatched the first frame from Ajinkya.
In the second frame Ajinkya losing his temperament could not control his nerves and gave too many chances to Aaryan to which Aaryan capitalized and won the frame as well as the match.
In junior billiards category Prateek Singla hot favorite reached semi-finals defeating last year’s champion Saransh Chaudhary 2-1. The first frame Prateek Singla leaded throughout with a break of 35 in the beginning but in the second frame Saransh Chaudhary came back well and snatched the frame from Prateek making the score level in the best of three frames. In the decider both the players were playing cautiously and giving no chance to the opponent. The decider frame was a see-saw battle but the luck was with Prateek, he got a chance to hit another break of 32 points and winning the frame and the match.
Prateek Singla, Aaryan Abrol , Kartik Mehta and Bharat Sharma are in semi-finals in junior billiards category.

28th Haryana State Billiards & Snooker Championship started on 23rd of December, 2013 in Haryana Billiards, SCO- 37 and Rimi Cue Club SCO-22-23, Sector-11, Panchkula. In the inaugural match in Sub-Juniors Billiards event Aaryan Abrol defeated Nipun 2-0. In the first frame Aaryan scored a break of 22 and 31 in the best of three frames match and won the first frame convincingly, but in the second frame Nipun started with a good break of 29 points to get a lead but Aaryan keeping himself cool covered the lead and won the second frame as well as the match. In the other matches Ajinkya defeated Digvijay Kadian 2-0 in the quarter final and Saransh Chaudhary in the semi-final to meet Aaryan Abrol in the finals.
In the senior snooker event Karan Goswami defeated Neeraj 3-2. In the first frame Neeraj showed good potting and cue ball control and did not let Karan to come near him and won the frame. In the second frame, Karan hit two good breaks of 29 and 37 and made the frame score level. The third frame again Neeraj won making the score 2-1. The next two frames Karan didn't give any chance to Neeraj and won the frames as well as the match convincingly.
