RULES &
REGULATIONS
1. The tournament shall be played
in a double elimination format.
2.
All matches shall be best of seven
frames
3.
The 40 players who shall qualify
will only be allowed to play in the Sept. 6 Red Nationals
4.
All the State Sub Juniors & U.P.
No. 1,2,3,4 will be allowed to play the Nationals without
playing the qualifiers.
5.
Any player not qualifying may give
his name for the Nationals but his entry confirmation is
dependent on availability of empty slot.
6.
The Tournament shall be played
under the following rules:
a.
There will be no more than five
consecutive Foul and a Miss calls at any one time
b.
After four consecutive Foul and a
Miss calls, the referee will warn the offending player that
should a Foul and a Miss be called again the following options
are available to the non-striker:
i) play himself from where the
balls have come to rest;
ii) ask his opponent to play from
where the balls have to come to rest;
iii) place the cue ball anywhere on
the table, but this option cannot be taken if play has reached
the 'snookers required' stage.
c.
A player cannot snooker behind a
nominated colour at any time.
7.
The qualified players will not have
to pay entry fees of the Nationals again
8.
No accommodation will be provided
9.
No entries shall be accepted after
last date of entry.
10.
The tournament committee has the
right to change
i) any player by any wait listed
player
ii) the playing table of any match
if the need is there. No objections shall be entertained.
iii) the playing time of any match
if the need is there. No objections shall be entertained.
11.
Dress code shall be semi formal:
Formal pants, Single colored shirt or collared T-Shirts and
shoes only. Any deviation shall be automatic walkover.
