Kelly Fisher - England
Former women world No. 1 Kelly Fisher of England storms into the
semi-finals of Otters Club All India 9Ball Pool Championship.
Fisher, who endured a gruelling day yesterday was in superb form today
and knocked out Aayush Kumar of Punjab in a completely one-sided battle
11-1.
Aayush, who only won the toss was a mute spectator throughout the match
while Fisher was busy exhibiting outstanding game of 9Ball Pool.
Soon she was enjoying 9-0 lead either by making complete clearances or
converting unforced errors by Aayush into racks wins.
In 10th frame Aayush got some luck and he managed to win a rack but once
again Fisher demonstrated excellent clearances in remaining two frames
to seal the match 11-1 and stepped into the semi-finals.
There were some amusing moments also where four rack’s breaks for Fisher
resulted in almost identical landing of cue ball and ball No.1. Such
things rarely happens in a sport like pool.
