Srikrishna bags maiden National Junior Billiards title

Tamil Nadu based young cueist S Srikrishna keeping a strong hold on national championship so far. After conquering grand double of sub-junior titles of Billiards and Snooker, today he thumped his superiority in the junior’s category too by winning the maiden Junior Billiards title.

After qualifying from knockout stage to top-4 Round Robin, first he took on Hrithik Jain of Madhya Pradesh and ousted him by scoring 867 having three century breaks of 114, 102 and 106. Hrithik scored 416.

In next match Shrikrishna played against Ashutosh Padhy of Odisha and registered next win by scoring 666 against 396 of Ashutosh. Though the last match did not happen but Shrikrishna was declared national junior billiards champion for the year 2017 on points average basis.

Ashutosh Padhy who won two matches, stayed No.2 followed by Hritik Jain as No.3 with one win and Sparsh Pherwani (Maharashtra) as No.4.
