RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Tournament is open to all players throughout India.

2. The tournament shall be conducted at two venues Alexander Club & Wheeler Club.

3. Players with National Ranking will be seeded first and the vacancies shall be filled by CSI Rankings. Top 4 U.P. State Players along with top 4 players from Meerut shall also play the main draw. Balance 16 shall be filled with qualifiers and Committee Choice.

4. Entry Fee shall be Rs. 1500/= payable by all players including seeded players.

5. Qualifiers will be played in a Knock Out Format (Best of 5 frames).

6. Main draw shall be played first in league format (Best of 5) and then knockout format.

7. For re-seeding in the knock out stage all ties shall be broken by a game of chance, no player can play a player of his league group in the first match but can be in the same half. In case of shifting he shall be shifted with a player closest to his seed and the other player shall take his place.

8. No accommodation will be provided.

9. No entries shall be accepted after last date of entry.

10. The tournament committee has the right to change.
• any player by any wait listed player.
• the playing table of any match if the need is there. No objections shall be entertained.

11. In the Qualifiers players shall refer their own matches. Referee shall be available from Main Draw only.

12. All the rules of fifteen red snooker shall be applicable. Except the foul and miss shall be restricted to only 2 replacements during the qualifiers. Degree of difficulty shall not be a consideration.

13. Delay from 1 to 15 Minutes—1 frame penalty; 15 to 30 Minutes--- 2 frame penalty; + 30 minutes--- Walkover.

14. The clock of the venue shall be considered the correct time.

15. No pan masala, alcohol or smoking shall be allowed inside the billiard room.
