Sethi recovers, Shandilya and Alok advance
Alok Kumar ranked 7th in the tournament, posted a commendable win against Seven times World Champion Pankaj Advani by 3-2 with the help of two century breaks in the first and third game in a best of five hundred points up format.
At the end of the evening session of the days play, the championship remains wide open as none of the players went home with an All Win record.

Nine times World Champion, Geet Sethi, who suffered a 0-3 defeat at the
hands of another World Champion and Asian Games Double Gold
Medalist, Ashok Shandilya, in the morning session later consolidated
his position in the league table by registering three successive
wins against Rupesh Shah, B. Bhaskar and Sourav Kothari in the
second Billiards Selection Tournament for 2010 Asian Games being
played here at the Billiards hall of Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias,
Miramar, Goa.
