Advani emphasizes the inclusion of Cue Sports into the Olympics

India’s ace #CueSports player, 23-time World champion, Pankaj Advani, tweet to raise a legitimate question why despite having a lot of similarities between Golf and Snooker, one is in the Olympics and the other is not?

The other players from the #CueSports fraternity, like Manan Chandra, Brijesh Damani, Anuj Uppal, Kreishh Gurbaxani, Lalrina Renthlei, etc. echoed the same sentiments and quoted with supportive tweets.

The President of Players Association (BSPAI), Cherag Ramakrishnan took a route of Facebook and first congratulated the golfer Aditi Akash for his tremendous performance in Olympics2020 followed by the demand of inclusion of #CueSports into the Olympics. Secretary BSPAI, Abhishek J. Shah hoped to see the #CueSports contingent at Olympics soon.

Cue Sports India Founder Vivek Pathak raised a request to Sports Minister through his tweet to support #CueSports for future Olympic Games. He also shared data of International medals won by Indian #CueSports players won during 2016 and 2019. He also mentioned that India won Gold, Silver, and Bronze during each Asian Games from 1998 till 2010, before Cue Sports was sent out of Asian Games.
