Pankaj, Aditya and Ishpreet to represent India at Doha

Asian Confederation for Billiard Sports (ACBS) and International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF), are organizing two different championships during coming September in Doha, Qatar.

The Asian Snooker will be played from 12 to 16 September and Qatar 6Red World Cup dates are 17 to 21 September 2021.

India has sent a representation of 2020 National Snooker champion Aditya Mehta and the Runner-up Pankaj Advani for the Asian Snooker Championship whereas, in the Qatar 6Red World Cup, 2020, National 6Reds champion Pankaj Advani and the Runner-up Ishpreet Singh will take part.

Pankaj Advani is the 23-time World champion and the only player who has won the title in all forms of Billiards, Snooker, 6Reds, and 10Reds competitions. He is defending champion for the Asian Snooker title, which he won in 2019 at Doha itself defeating Thailand player Thanawat Thirapongpaiboon.

Aditya Mehta won the Asian Snooker title in 2012. He is the lone winner of World Games Gold in 2013 and the 2019 World champion of Team Snooker.

Ishpreet Singh had won a Bronze medal in the Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship held in Sri Lanka in 2016.
