M.B. Ashutosh of Telangana scored first century of the BRC-GLOSTER
National Billiards & Snooker Championship being played here at Bengal
Rowing Club, Kolkata.
While playing against Jammu & Kashmir player Mandeep Singh in Junior
Snooker main round, Ashutosh precisely crafted break of 103 points before
missing out the last black. Ashutosh maintained good placing of cueball
throughout the break. Later he won the match 3-0.
Ashutosh further excelled further and outclassed West Bengal player
Mohammed Shoaib 3-0 to enter in pre-quarters.
Already bagged two national titles, Ishpreet Chadha of Maharashtra was in
good touch and finished his Last-32 match with good breaks in the end. He
knocked out a worthy player Dikshant Negi of Uttarakhand 3-1.
However, the first frame was close and ended on blackball game but after
that Ishpreet was in total control and did not allow Negi to settle down
at any stage. Lastly he scored breaks of 41 and 43 to shut the doors of
Junior Snooker for Negi.
