Junior Snooker champion, Avinash Kumar receiving prize from WBBA officials
The Delhi lad, Avinash Kumar, mesmerized the cue sports fraternity by
exhibiting excellent potting skills and the way he played throughout the
junior snooker discipline in the BRC-GLOSTER National Billiards & Snooker
Championship here at Bengal Rowing Club, Kolkata.
Yesterday he reached into top 4 without losing a single frame and after
that he clears all three round robin matches to become Junior National
champion.
In the round robin stage, he first defeated M.L. Laxman of Karnatak 4-1
and then today he beat Hritik Jain (Madhya Pradesh) 4-2 and S. Shrikrishna
(Tamil Nadu) 4-1.
There was three-way tie among Hritik, Laxman and Srikrishna and on frames
average, Hritik Jain becomes 2 and Shrikrishna No.3.
