TVS Subir Udyog Ltd. likely to get top-seed for knockout

TVS SUBIR UDYOG LTD having team partners Kolkata based Shreevardhan Poddar and National Snooker Champion from Mumbai Ishpreet Singh have won all of their matches in Group B and likely to get top-seed for the knockout stage of the Kolkata Open 2022 - Pro AM tournament ongoing here in The Calcutta Swimming Club.

The six days mega event has initial days for the annual event Pro-Am Snooker Tournament where a national level ranked player is paired with the local favourites from Kolkata for the coveted annual trophy.

TVS - Subir Udyog Ltd. was in group with Gloster Ltd. (Dhvaj Haria & Rohit Rajgharia), Ultra Max (Shahbaaz Adil Khan & Hitesh Adukia) and BASIL (Shivam Arora & MS Johal). TVS won all these three matches one-sided scoring 3-0.

The team BASIL having MS Johal & Shivam Arora stayed No.2 in the group after winning two matches and advanced to knockouts.

From Group C, Team SFIC having Devesh Sonthalia from Kolkata and former World Games and Asian Snooker champion Aditya Mehta also qualified for the knockouts by winning all three matches of the group 3-1, 3-1, 3-0.
