Team India wins gold in the Asian Team Snooker 2023

Team India scripted a gold medal for India after defeating team Hong Kong 3-2 in the final of the Asian Team Snooker Championship 2023 in Tehran, Iran.

The team India comprising Kamal Chawla, Spash Pherwani and Brijesh Damani were down two frames in the final when the duo Kamal Chawla and Brijesh Damani pulled up doubles frame to stay alive in the match.

In the fourth frame, Kamal Chawla placed a fantastic break of 115 to level the match 2-2.

Lastly, Brijesh Damani hit the last nail to script the gold medal for India winning deciding frame 66-45 against Cheung Ka Wai of Hong Kong.
