The IBSF is pleased to announce that the 2026 IBSF World Billiards Championship will be played from April 25 to 28, 2026, in the SBI academy in Carlow, Ireland. IBSF sincerely thanks Snooker and Billiards Ireland for hosting this prestigious event in their world class academy.

Each country is allowed to send 8 players. IBSF will invite the last 8 players of the IBSF World Billiards Championship 2025.

The closing date for entries is 22nd March 2026.

The entry fee will be US$ 150.00 per player and must be paid to the IBSF Treasurer or Tournament Director before the start of the Championships.

Countries that have not paid the IBSF annual membership for 2025 will not be allowed to use the online system to enter their players.

Member countries are requested to pay any outstanding membership fees at the event. These fees will then be reflected in the financial report presented at the AGM.

Calendar of Events:
- Referees and players’ meeting: Friday 24th April 2026 at 9:30 AM.
- Matches will start on 25th April at 10:00 AM with the final to be played on 28th April 2026.

Format: Timed Format:
- All the matches in the group round: Timed 90 minutes.
- All the matches from the knockout upto quarter-finals: Timed 120 minutes.
- Semi-Final: Timed 150 minutes.
- Final: Timed 180 minutes.
